Entering your beauty in her first pageant?
Here’s where to start.
First tip***
DO NOT OVER SPEND ON HER FIRST PAGEANT!!!
Dress- Find something that fits her well, great color for her skin tone and length you want. (dhgate.com custom order and ships from hong kong you’ll pay ¼ of the price of what you would from the U.S.) (or you can rent dresses, check facebook or eBay for deals)
Shoes- White/Black/Silver dress shoes, no open toe (shoe dept. $15-$20)
Socks- White dress socks, with ruffles. Ruffles can match the color of the dress or buy white ruffles so they match a number of dress's. (payless $3)
Outfit of choice- Go with the theme of the pageant! If you match something with the theme, the music and outfit will come easy!
Pictures- Have someone do your portfolio for you! They can be from a Portrait Studio or just some great snap shots from outside.
*You’ll need 8 to 10 different shots of your little beauty. In different outfits. If your diva is a tiny tot, change her as little as possible! Don’t want her getting cranky!
*You’ll need 1-8x10 Composite card (basically a collage with 3 to 4 different images on it, her name, age, eye & hair color.)
*Print 1-8x10 for photogenic. A photograph that she looks like she is having a lot of fun, but you want to be able to see her face!
